Happy St. Patrick's Day!

I have been waiting six months to use this picture! It's too bad I don't remember where I got it from. Oh well. I hope everyone has a fantastic day!

A Chicago Lion

How cool is this? I'm making it my new mission to find out how this artist created the illustration effect in Photoshop.

The Gift of Giving

What to get for the person who has everything?

American Red Cross has assembled a Holiday Giving Catalog for the holidays that are sure to warm your heart. You can choose from a variety of price points and receipients. For instance, you can purchase $25 music gift cards for wounded soldiers, emergency water containers for flood victims, blankets, and vaccines for children.
And, of course...
TOMS donates a pair of shoes to a child in need for every pair of adorable little slippers you buy. These guilded herringbone women's classics are my current fave. My navy TOMS are perhaps the most comfortable things I have ever put on my feet. Seriously! It's surprising.

Holiday Garland Idea

While poking around West Elm today, I spied this cool newsprint leaf garland. Doesn't this look easy to make? I couldn't figure out if they were using floral tape with newsprint on it, or if there was a type of adhesive attached to the newspaper. Hmm...
